Very Informative Site. Have a question: Does anyone know of a ready-made adapter for an old Valoy so one might print full frame without having to crop? or . remove column. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks for your time. Warmest Regards, Bill Cleveland

Interesting and helpful site. I have a decent collection of film and digital cameras now considered as "ancient" by photographers. It seems I enjoy servicing camera bodies and lenses than taking photographs. Thanks a bunch guys.

With time, care, patience, and Jon's excellent instructions and measurements, replacing the foam light seals is a very satisfying job. One tip. in the UK McDonalds have thin wooden sticks for stirring coffee, and these are just right as a tool for helping to re-fit new light seals.

I emailed you reagarding the password, and then I swa how it works, sorry and thanks. Great site this, very usefull info. I really like film cameras cause they teach you to think about your shot, just the old Harvard (Texan T1, I think) training aeroplane is still the best trainer cause it teaches pilots basic flying skills and power management. Digital these days results and ten thousand pictures snapped and maybe one picture. People learn to take snapshots with digital cameras, not pictures. Thanks guys, I am now a owner of a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s, and it works, sofar anyway.

Thank you very much for providing free manuals for older cameras. Very appreciated, so unselfish. You guys rock. I have had this camera for twenty five years, I have been taking photos for about thirty years. I had a good idea of the camera functions, but it is nice to have a manual, to much hit and miss. Funny, I have gone from a brownie 120 format, to manual SLR, to auto focus SLR, to digital point and shoot, to digital SLR, now back to a 120 Format and my maual SLR. There is something about the purer forms of photography, that draws you back to simpler skills and knowledge. Thinking about the shot, instead of willy nilly shooting, and oh-well I will just delete. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the will nilly part, but somedays you just require more. Sorry for the excited rant. Are you considering a photo section, or is there already one and I did not motice. If there isn't, I will check back regularly, in case there will be. I would enjoy joining, to share art photos. Lexadent

What a great site. My father was a professional photographer for a number of years and used it as a side moneymaker the rest of his life. He acquired quite a collection of Cameras and they are now mine and I goggled to see what I could find on one of them (Yashica 635) and found this lovely place. Now I will have to get all of them out and look them over. They are in working order. I don't even know how many I have at this time, so I guess it is research time.

Does anyone know where I can buy selenium cells to replace dead ones in older 35mm cameras. If I can locate stock ones, I know how to cut down to fit!

Would there be anyone who still has a user manual for a Premier DS5057 ? And if so, would care to part with it, for a resonable price. John
